For this project I had to design a restaurant menu for a fictional, start up restaurant that requires both a dine-in menu and a digital alternative PDF that will be posted on their website for download. The Client it is a brunch restaurant, mid to high priced. Rosé Mornings is a dine in restaurant, the printed menu is part of the experience.The menu will have a Specialty finish - Rose Gold foil on the name Rosé of the menu and also on the borders.
1. Planning and Research. > 2. Developing logo and brand system for the restaurant - with color and type choices. > 3. Planning the menu’s layout with these questions - book or folding panels? Which section will go where? What images do I need? What content do I need? > 4. With a plan, set up INDD file and start placing the content for the print version. > 6. Created file for the digital alternative, making the necessary changes. > 7. Finesse the design and typography.
